Founded in 2013 by Kyle Newby in Fredericksburg, Virginia, our journey began humbly—with just a pickup truck, a handful of essential tools, and the bold dream of filling a critical gap in local home services. Recognizing that no one in our area specialized specifically in dryer vent solutions, Kyle set out to master this niche industry and elevate standards for dryer vent safety and efficiency.
Through meticulous study of appliance manufacturer requirements and rigorous experimentation with various products and equipment, Kyle quickly developed industry-leading expertise. His dedication to continuous improvement and unwavering commitment to best practices rapidly positioned The Vent Guys as the premier dryer vent service provider in Central and Northern Virginia.
Today, The Vent Guys proudly set a national benchmark for exhaust vent services. Kyle Newby’s expertise is recognized nationally; he actively contributes to industry excellence through his involvement with the Chimney Safety Institute of America’s (CSIA) Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician committee, he speaks and authors resources for the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), and his efforts have been recognized by the wider HVAC community as a 2024 runner-up for an Implementation Excellence Award with the National Comfort Institute (NCI).
