Full Duct Renovation – Sandston, VA
Static Pressure (Before): 0.54 in. w.c.
Static Pressure (After): 0.20 in. w.c.
This Sandston homeowner was struggling with an uncomfortable upstairs and highly uneven airflow. Nearly half the home wasn’t receiving the air it needed, causing inconsistent heating and cooling from room to room. Although the system’s static pressure wasn’t drastically high, the existing ductwork was so poorly designed that air was being delivered to all the wrong places. A simple balancing adjustment would not have fixed the problem—this system required a complete redesign.
As professional duct designers, we developed a new airflow plan to properly distribute conditioned air throughout the home. We replaced the undersized and misrouted duct system with a custom-engineered layout designed for balance, comfort, and efficiency. Once installed, we carefully air-balanced the system to confirm that every CFM of air was reaching the exact room it was intended for.
The Result: A dramatically more efficient system with a 63% reduction in static pressure—and, most importantly, a comfortable home with consistent airflow in every room.

More than 30 years ago, our house was built without a dryer vent. We quickly discovered this, but the makeshift vent we had installed can only be described as janky. We called the Dryer Vent Guys as our dryer was not drying the clothes properly. Jackson arrived and inspected the system. It could not be cleaned as a repair was needed. The cost was $129 for inspection, photos, video & travel.Jackson returned and replaced the air vent with a dryer jack vent and cleaned the system. The cost was $899 for repairs, cleaning, travel, video and photos.Jackson was extremely easy to work with and had great communication skills. He arrived on time and is very detailed in his documentation.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a service, repair, or installation at my home done with more professionalism and transparency as I experienced today with Lucas. He identified the problem, explained what he would do to remedy it, and set about doing that efficiently. He took photographs, described what they revealed, a clogged dryer vent that was impeding air flow drastically.
