Tom thoroughly cleaned our dryer vent of a six- year buildup of lint. In addition to the cleaning, he secured the cord connection to the dryer with a clamp and replaced the “dryer vent meant for air” with a correct dryer vent meant for a dryer!!

Tom with the “Dryer Vent Guys” is Reliable, Professional, and on time with great communication before-during- and after completion. Tom performed the process of cleaning and removing the lint that builds up in the dryer vent duct today using brushes and vacuum method that did not blow the lint all over outside! Great job… all at a fair price. What else is there! This is our second time using The Vent Guys. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about safety and current codes. Took pictures of the dryer and its vent and the outside vent to explain what he found. He had several suggestions for improvements but no pressure to have him preform these. We opted to fix two suggestions ourselves and asked him to provide an updated dryer vent connection that was not available when we bought the dryer. We are very pleased by the entire experience and highly recommend.

Will and Jay were a pleasure to work with. Professional, friendly and patiently took extra time to explain things to me. I converted to rigid dryer duct work in the crawl space. They brought it up to code and did an amazing job. Another person came on site to advise about a difficult routing issue which says a lot about their commitment to getting it right. I received detailed images before and after. Because of their impressive reviews I didn’t shop around but the price seemed very reasonable for the quality work. Don’t hesitate to call them.

Now I sleep easier! Our home was built in 1985, when codes were different, and thought about the "future" issues didn't seem as important. Will S from The Vent Guys initially came out to clean our dryer vent, which snakes a long distance from the laundry closet on the 2nd floor, squished along side a bathtub, and out the 2nd story...finally. I had been worrying about a fire and issues with the dryer vent for some time, so I wasn't surprised when Will announced that the vent was "not up to code", he could not clean the vent, and changes needed to be made. Today he installed a rigid sheet metal tube the heads up the closet wall into the attic, across the floor rafters and out through a new vent. Will did a great job, is warm and personable, knowledgeable, quick and thorough. It was a pleasure to work with him. I have been trying to find a solution to this problem for a long time. The company’s web site has a great deal of useful information for perspective clients to review regarding all things regarding dryer vent cleaning and professional certifications. I was very impressed and that is why I hired them to install a new vent cover for the outside dryer vent, clean the dryer vents and install a rigid dryer vent behind the dryer. Codey and Micheal were superb technicians! They were informative, knowledgeable, and professional. It was clear that they knew how to access customer’s needs and recommended two upgrades that they installed. They emphasized safety and when not to use your appliances as well as the importance of annual maintenance. They called to let me know that they were on their way to my house and were on time. These young men were awesome. Not only did they do amazing job cleaning our dryer vent but also explained that our vent is not in code. We are waiting on an estimate to have that repair completed.This is not the best thing about our visit. The young men found we had a major gas leak in our attic and had me call the gas company. We had a wonderful experience with The Vent Guys! It was very easy to make an appointment and we received communication leading up to the appointment. Michael and his teammate were both nice and did a thorough job of inspecting our dryer system. Michael did a great job explaining their findings in a way that was easy to understand and he shared the work he would suggest be done, but at no point did he make us feel pressured to have them do anything. We did end up getting work done and they were very efficient in their work. We also really like the follow up report with pictures they provide. We will definitely be using them again!

I was experiencing some leaking in my dryer venting and needed help with a quick diagnosis and correction. Michael from The Vent Guys, came to my home inspected my venting on my roof, in my attic and in my laundry room. He then gave a detailed account of what was likely causing my condensation build up and offered me all of the solutions to fix it. Michael did an amazing job today! He called to let us know he was on his way and was super prompt with his arrival time. Professional, knowledgeable, and outlined everything he was going to do. He took his time reviewing and inspecting everything. Outline what we needed to do (torn tube, replacing our torn vent cover) priced everything out and took his time cleaning everything, including our dryer that had not been serviced before. He finished up and everything looked brand new! He cleaned up so well behind himself and probably left the area cleaner than it was before! Service provider confirmations were consistent leading to the service schedule, but not burdensome.Technician showed up on schedule, with text and cell call prior arrival notifications. Typical requests regarding pets, sick client.... no problem.Work was performed by a uniformed, courteous, knowledgeable technician, Michael Q., who provided pre-work scope of requirem, safety issues, near term and long term considerations. Having a previous "Fire Department response" 🚒 to a "ADT HEAT" Alarm, this was refreshing 👌.Daniel discovery safety issues from previous installations from our Big Box Store, in particular, the install allowed 240v wiring to RUB on a sharp edge of the dryer rear panel. Not trusted the Big Box Store back then, we installed a dedicated battery operated smoke detector under the cabinet above the dryer. This is in addition to the ADT Smoke/Heat, Whole House Smoke 120v/ 9volt backup. 3 levels of security.Change your batteries 🔋 don't get cheap stupid! Fred
